Second Quarter off to a great start at Oakley Industries
In the beginning of April we were able to put the finishing touches on moving the last of our operations from Fraser to Plant 4 in Clinton Township. This means that all of our buildings are located all on one street. Not only did we move everything, but we also sold the building in Fraser, and with it all of the costs associated with the remote location.
The new facility is new, better lit, more organized, and will result in a smoother workflow, better to serve our customers, and lowering our costs dramatically.

Our plan is to continually upgrade our assembly capabilities, adding some other services and expanding our welding capacity.
Also, at the end of March, we took delivery on a new heavy duty truck. The International WorkStar Truck has a slightly larger bed than our old truck, as well a higher hauling capacity. Coupled with the new Ford Cube Van and Transit Connect we bought at the end of last year, we are in great shape to serve our customers, delivering product in an economical manner.
