A natural extension of our stamping
capabilities is the ability to weld subassemblies
and assemblies for our
customers. We’ve found that our
assembly capabilities have attracted
more stamping work, and conversely,
our stamping capabilities have led to
more assembly work.
Our two large spot-welding cells and our mig-welding cells have made us quite productive, and the repeatability leads to better quality. We can program the cells offline or manually as we set up the jobs.
These are augmented by a number of manual weld guns, including a couple designated solely for aluminum.
Our robotic hemmer is ideal for door assemblies, hood assemblies and deck lid assemblies. As with the weld cells, this unit has made us more productive and improved repeatability and quality.
